Denise Arnold

In the garden of memory, in the palace of dreams... we will meet again.

Denise Ann Arnold, age 70, of Seminole, FL, passed away peacefully on September 14th, 2025. Born and raised in Detroit, Michigan, Denise later moved to Largo, FL in her senior year of high school and graduated from Largo High School.

Denise spent many years in Arlington, Texas, where she raised her children, before returning to Florida to enjoy retirement near the sun and beach she loved. She was preceded in death by her parents, Rosemary Alt and Richard Koscinski.

Denise is survived by her daughter Kelly Moore and husband Russell Moore (Dallas, TX), her son James Gilday (Las Vegas, NV), siblings Rick Gabridge and wife Dawn, April Shultz, Rosemay Cahoon and husband Robert, and brothers John Cebe and Scott Kidd. Her beloved nieces and nephews include Nicole Corder, Matt Gabridge, Adrienne Utter, Preston Shultz, Nick, Nikia, Robert, Chris, Angel, Tom, Robert, Kileigh, and Miracle as well as, a great nephew Kolston and soon-to-arrive additions she happily anticipated. Denise also treasured many friends who became family, especially the Davis Family of Texas, who supported her as a single mother—fixing cars, helping her move, and forming lifelong bonds. She was known for her joyful spirit, teaching silly dances, playfully embarrassing her kids, and giving unforgettable hugs.

Professionally, Denise worked for over two decades at Southwestern Bell/AT&T, beginning as an operator and later becoming a customer service representative. She was the helpful voice behind the phone line, proudly selling the latest in-home phone features and forming deep, lasting friendships with her AT&T colleagues.

In keeping with her wishes, Denise’s family will hold a private celebration of life. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to a local food pantry, women’s shelter, or the Cancer Society—causes that were close to her heart.
