Dennis Kubik

Apr 1, 1949 — Oct 1, 2026

Kubik, Dennis, 77 of Largo, Florida, passed away on October 1, 2026, at home. He was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan, and graduated from Chadsey High School. He was Honorably Discharged from the Army in 1969. He worked on the railroad with CSX and retired from Ford Motor Company in Chesterfield, Michigan.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Helen Kubik; his wife, Audrey; and his sister Ilene Berger. Dennis is survived by his daughters Tracey (Rich) Pyle, Holly (Steve) Graham, and Angela (Vernon) Berels; his brother Gary (Cyndi) Kubik; and grandchildren Audrey, Nicholas (Skylar), Hailee (Robbie), Joshua, Lee (Natali), Maddylyn, Easton, Autumn, and Londyn; 4 great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews who all loved him very much.

About 10 years ago, Dennis moved to Florida to be near the ocean, a place he loved dearly. He embraced the Florida lifestyle and all the things that brought him joy—spending time at the beach, listening to loud music and banging on his keyboard or piano, enjoying bonfires and fireworks, fishing, and, most of all, having a good time. Dennis never met a stranger. He had a way of making people feel welcome and could strike up a conversation with just about anyone. He treasured his beloved dog, Mizz Henrietta, who was more than a pet—she was his constant companion. He took her everywhere he went, and she was rarely far from his side. Dennis also cherished the time he spent with his good friend Kenny. The two shared countless laughs, good times, and memories that will be remembered fondly.

The family will hold a celebration of Dennis’s life at a later date. Details will be announced when arrangements are finalized.
