Douglas W. Shane

Shane, Douglas Wilson, 81, of Seminole, Florida passed away October 28, 2026 at home. Born in Sewickley, PA, grew up in California and living in Illinois before moving to Florida. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lillian and “Calvin”, his brother, Ron, his daughters, Stephanie and Rachel. Doug is survived in death by his wife, Marilee; his children, Michelle (James) and Douglas (Dawn); sister, Brenda; grandchildren Will, Sarah, Alyssa, Patrick, Eric and Raven and eleven great-grandchildren. Doug loved his family, music, animals, staying physically fit and working in his yard. 

Doug’s Celebration will be Saturday, November 7 at his home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to any animal rescue.
