Dwight D. Seiberg
Jun 30, 1957 — Jun 8, 2026
Dwight David Seiberg, 68, of Clearwater, FL, formerly of Ashville, NY, passed away at home on Monday, June 8, 2026, after a lengthy battle with numerous health issues. He was born in Jamestown, NY, on June 30, 1957. He was the son of the late John Gilbert Seiberg and June Marie (Cave) Seiberg.
He graduated from Chautauqua Central School in 1975 and from Jamestown Business College with a degree in Accounting in 1991. He was a member of Open Meadows United Methodist Church. He worked for H&R Tax Service and was self-employed as a contractor for many years.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Thomas and Doris Cave; his paternal grandparents, P. Gilbert and Elsie Seiberg; and two brothers-in-law, Leo Hadley and Phil Eimers.
He is survived by his two sons, Karl Seiberg of Gerry, NY, and Kristopher Seiberg of Sinclairville, NY; and his two daughters, Kira Daveen of Sinclairville, NY, and Kylah Marie Seiberg of Jamestown, NY. He is also survived by his brother, Ron Seiberg of Mayville, NY; his sisters, Janet Hadley of Blockville, NY, Pat Eimers of Hudson, FL/Panama, NY, and Debbie (Ed) Pringle of Clearwater, FL; his granddaughters, Shayleen (Carson) Tucker and Athena Seiberg; his grandsons, Logan and Cayden Seiberg; and his great-granddaughters, Roselia and Isabeau Tucker. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Dwight had a soul filled with light and laughter, always making sure everyone who crossed his path left with a smile. He had a heart of gold and was always willing to give his last to someone in need. He protected those he loved with his voice, his love, and his unwavering loyalty. His family and friends will remember his charismatic, humorous, outgoing, and lovable personality. He enjoyed hunting, bowling, traveling, watching eagles, going to the beach, playing cards with Debbie (usually taking her money) and making her laugh so hard, spending time with family and friends, talking with his daughter, and running all over Clearwater in his electric chair. He loved his grandchildren dearly and wished he could have spent more time with them. He lived his life to the fullest.
A Celebration of Dwight's Life will be on Saturday, August 22, 2026 at Busti Church of God - 996 Forest Avenue, Jamestown, NY 14701 from 2-5 pm.
“He was given two wings like those of a Great Eagle so he could fly to the place prepared for him. There he would be cared for and protected.” Revelation 12:14
