Martin Gerald Greenwald

Martin "Marty " Gerald Greenwald ,74, of Redington Beach Florida passed away on May 22, 2026. Born and raised in the Bronx, New York. He was preceded in death by his father Gerald A. Greenwald. Martin was survived by his wife, Brenda J Bungard Greenwald of Redington Beach. Also by his mother Gisela Greenwald and his sister Linda Greenwald-Head of Ruskin Florida.

Martin was a University of Florida graduate with a Masters degree in Business. He was the owner and operator of Marty's Hot Dogs on Franklin Street in Tampa and had a restaurant (Marty's) across from the County Courthouse in Tampa for many years. Martin retired in 2022 and loved fishing the beach and waters here in Redington Beach. He was a regular fixture fishing or riding his scooter in the neighborhood to go fishing. That was his passion! He would say "Any day is a good day if he was fishing". Martin died doing what he loved and where he loved doing it. Martin's other passion was decorating the yard at Christmas. We would say if you stood too long he would put lights on you! It gave him great joy seeing people drive by to see his display. Martin was a very caring and loving soul. Always there to help anyone that needed a helping hand. Martin was so loved and will truly be missed 💞💞
