Maxine Brown

Maxine C. Brown , 87, passed away peacefully on March 11, 2026 and was a long time resident in Clearwater, FL  Maxine was known for her kindness, humor, and the gentle way she lifted the spirits of everyone around her. She loved to travel and was active on the board of her condo association for over two decades. She always believed in building a strong sense of community for the residents. Not only did she serve her community, but always enlisted some elves to put up the Christmas tree in the condo lobby for everyone to enjoy.  It gave her happiness.

She was preceded in death by her son, Mitchell Brown. Maxine is lovingly remembered by her extended family and by her dear friends Alesia, Rhonda and Mila, whose friendship brought her joy and comfort.

A private celebration of her life will be held. In honor of Maxine, friends encourages you to initiate and participate in simple acts of kindness in her honor— as a reflection of the way she lived.
