Megan Kelly Malone of Palm Harbor, Florida, passed away on Monday, August 10, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of compassion, strength, and generosity. Born on September 27, 1974, in Wyandotte, Michigan, to Raymond Norkus and Sarah Knappen, Megan was raised in Woodhaven, Michigan.
Megan loved entertaining and was the life of every party. Independent, resourceful, and deeply loving, she was a true force of nature. She saw beauty in others and helped them recognize it in themselves.
Megan was a beloved daughter, sister, aunt, and friend whose life was shaped by deep love for her family and friends and by the many ways she gave of herself to others.

Her salon thrived because she made every client feel special, whether she had known them for years or only minutes. She brought determination and heart to every part of her life, and she helped others feel their best because she saw the good in everyone she met.
Megan’s talent was matched by her generous heart. She loved cooking, and anyone who shared a meal she prepared knew what an incredible cook she was. She savored the process of creating a meal and serving it to the people she loved.
Megan had a deep love for her dogs and cherished the many furry companions who shared her life.
Megan is survived by her father, Raymond Norkus; her mother, Sarah Knappen; her sister, Amy Lehman and Amy’s husband, Jeremy Lehman; her niece, Maria Carta; and many cherished friends who will remember her love of life, generosity, and passion for cooking.
Anyone fortunate enough to know and love Megan understood how meaningful it was to be in her presence. She was warm, gracious, generous, and always eager to make others feel welcome.
