Robert Lockwood

Lockwood, Robert J. “Bob”, 67, of Largo FL, previously of Buffalo NY, died peacefully at home of natural causes on September 6, 2025.

He is survived by son Jacob Lockwood and granddaughter Ava; son Michael Lockwood; brothers Charles, Donald, and William; and niece Melissa and nephew Andrew. He was preceded in death by wife Carole; and by his parents, Merle and Ruth Lockwood.

In younger years, Bob loved classic cars and had a unique gift for diagnostics and engine repair, which led him to a lifelong career as a talented and trusted mechanic. He was a kind and caring neighbor who watched out for others in his neighborhood; and was a true and loyal friend. In the words of one long-time friend, “Bob was a good guy who always wanted to help”.

Burial and family service will be scheduled for next Spring in Buffalo NY.
