Sara Lynne Barrow

Sara Lynne Barrow (née Bowman, previously of the Hobgood family), 62, passed on April 8th, 2026. She was born in Lyons Township, Illinois on September 16th, 1963. She graduated from Northeast High School in St. Petersburg, FL in 1981 and obtained a license in massage therapy, but primarily worked as an administrative assistant. She married Tony Hobgood in 1988 and had one daughter in 1994, Ashley Hobgood. Later, she remarried to Charles "Chuck" Barrow in 2014. She was a devoted Christian. She enjoyed Bible study, writing, gardening, and solving sudoku puzzles while watching documentaries. She loved spending time with friends and family and hunting for garage sales on the weekends with them. She is survived by her daughter, Ashley (Anthony) Hernandez, sister Lisa (Dick) Sveum, brother Greg Bowman, sister-in-law Sherry (Mike) Hobgood-Carter, brother-in-law Howard (Nancy) Barrow, five nieces, three nephews, and three grand nieces. She is predeceased by her husband Charles Barrow and her parents Dolores and Dale Bowman. A memorial for Sara will be held at Sylvan Abbey Memorial Park and Funeral Home in Clearwater, FL on May 16th, 2026 at 9:30am, with services beginning promptly at 10:00am.

In lieu of flowers, the family would like donations to be made to Compassion International-- a Christian based charity that Sara supported.
