J. Carmen Alvarez Arredondo

With heavy hearts and steadfast hope in the promises of Christ, we share the passing of J. Carmen Alvarez Arredondo, who entered into eternal rest on August 31, 2025, in Caldwell, Idaho. 

Born to Joel Alvarez Lira and Maria de Carmen Arredondo Alonso on May 9, 1956, J. Carmen was a quiet soul who lived simply and humbly. Though reserved, he remained a cherished part of our family, and his life, like every life, bore the imprint of God’s love and grace. 

He was preceded in death by his beloved parents, his brother Rafael Alvarez, and his sister Consuelo Armenta. He is survived by his siblings Luz Arredondo, Lilia Ramirez, and Antonio Alvarez, as well as many nieces, nephews, and extended family who lift him up in remembrance and prayer. 

We entrust his soul to the mercy of our Lord, believing in the hope of resurrection and the peace that passes all understanding. May he find rest in the arms of our Savior, and may perpetual light shine upon him. 

A private memorial will be held by the family. In his honor, we invite you to offer a prayer, light a candle, or extend a quiet act of kindness.
