Patrick McDaniel Wolberd

Patrick Wolberd was born the youngest of two children in the southern coastal region of California. He was raised from age four in California's Central Valley. As a youth, Patrick honed his leadership skills in the Boy Scouts of America, becoming an Eagle Scout.

He joined the Air Force after a year in college and served in Guam for four years during the Vietnam War. After military service, Patrick went back to college to earn a Master of Social Work.

He used his degree to build a lifetime career that consisted of directing state and private mental health facilities, working as a clinician in a state correctional facility, and running his own private practice.

In California, he met the love of his life, Anita. They married in 1977 and raised a family of four children. Patrick and his family moved from California to Montana in the mid-80s, then ultimately settled in Idaho in 2008.

Patrick had a passion for chess, golf, and camping in the mountains. He and Anita loved to travel, visiting family as well as pilgrimage sights.

He was a devout Catholic and member of the Knights of Columbus. Patrick is survived by his wife, four children, two grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Beyond details of his family, work, and interests, Patrick Wolberd will be known forever as a kind soul whose caring and generous nature touched the heart of everyone who knew him.

God is good in bringing him to Him.
