Ricky Leslie Roble

Dec 20, 1968 — Feb 27, 2026

Richard “Ricky” Leslie Roble passed away on February 27, 2026, in Eagle, Idaho.

Ricky was born on December 20, 1968, in East Lansing, Michigan, to Daniel and Angie Roble.

Ricky lived a life marked by hard work, loyalty, and an appreciation for life’s simple joys. He grew up in Redmond, Washington, and graduated from Redmond High School, where he lettered in varsity basketball. He went on to attend Washington State University, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in History and was a proud member of the Phi Delta Theta fraternity. The friendships he formed throughout his childhood, adolescence, and college years remained an important and lasting part of his life.

Throughout the years, Ricky worked in a variety of roles in hospitality, recreation, and community service. His work included positions in restaurants, sports facilities, resort security, grocery service, and youth mentoring. He also spent time coaching, generously sharing his enthusiasm for sports with others. Ricky most recently worked for Fred Meyer in Meridian, where he was loved and respected by all of his colleagues. He was also a driver for Uber.

Outside of work, Ricky loved golfing, spending time outdoors, and being around animals. A true sports enthusiast, he enjoyed following sports and talking about them every chance he got. He was a loyal friend and a devoted son, brother, and uncle who deeply valued the relationships in his life.

Ricky will be remembered for his sense of humor and his ability to find joy in everyday moments. He wanted to be remembered as a positive person, and that is exactly how those who knew and loved him will remember him. His warmth, laughter, and love for life will be deeply missed. Of all the roles he held, his favorite was being “Uncle Rick,” a title he treasured most.

Ricky is survived by his mother, Angie Roble of Eagle, Idaho; his sister, Pia (Jorge) Medrano of Ecuador; his brothers, Bob Roble (Jessica Stone) of Auburn, Georgia, and Rolando Roble (Kristi Hendry) of Caldwell, Idaho; and his beloved nieces and nephews, Andres and Stefa Medrano, Eston (Alex) Roble, Tye (Marissa) Roble, Ava Roble, Rokklen Roble, Kellan Roble, and Jacob Chairmont. He is also survived by his great-nieces and great-nephews, Matias and Martin Medrano, and Tessa, Oliver, and Charlotte Roble. The family would also like to acknowledge Donald MacKenzie and Candace Brink for their love, unwavering support, and friendship to Ricky over the years.

Ricky was preceded in death by his father, Daniel James Roble, and by his beloved four-legged children,  dogs Deuce and Dakota.

A Celebration of Life will be held this spring in Eagle, Idaho. Arrangements are under the direction of Accent Funeral Home and Cremation in Meridian.
