Rochelle Beaudreau-Jensen
May 19, 1940 — May 29, 2026
Rochelle Beaudreau Jensen
It is with heavy hearts and fond memories that we announce the passing of Rochelle Jensen, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, on May 29, 2026. Rochelle departed this world peacefully at the age of 86, following a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. Her journey ended where it began, in the comforting embrace of her birthplace, Nampa, Idaho.
Born on May 14, 1940, to Harold "Bud" and Grace Roark Beaudreau and little sister to Arnold & Mona Rae. She grew up in Nampa helping her parents in the Day & Nite Grocery. She married Lyle Jensen 12-29-1959 and later moved to California. Their family grew to include son, Maurice Evan Jensen and Dana Rochelle Bosworth. She enjoyed raising her family and frequent trips to Idaho. A highlight was when Lyle & Rochelle took a 6-month sabbatical to travel the world. Lyle passed in 1995. Through Eastern Star, Rochelle met and married Austin "Buzz" Haller in 1999. Rochelle & Buzz enjoyed 25 years of masonic work, car shows, Cape Cod trips and international travel, including many cruise vacations.
Rochelle lived a life full of love, laughter, and dedication to those around her. She was predeceased by her parents, siblings and husbands, Lyle Jensen and Buzz Haller, who each brought unique joy and companionship to her life. Rochelle graduated from Nampa High School in 1958. She then continued her studies at the University of Idaho, laying the foundation for her successful career as a realtor in California. Her professional life was marked by integrity, diligence, and an innate ability tocreate connections with her clients and colleagues alike.
A proud and active member of the Order of Eastern Star (66 years), Rochelle took great joy in her community service, including her role as a Worthy Matron and Deputy Grand Matron. Her contributions to the organization were numerous and impactful, and her dedication was recognized when appointed Grand Representative to Australia, a testament to her commitment and leadership.
Rochelle is survived by her children, Maurice Evan Jensen and Dana Rochelle Bosworth (Jerry). Her grandchildren, Alison Jensen, Austin Vahl, and Curtis Vahl, were the light of her life, and she took immense pride in their accomplishments. She is also survived by her nephew, Ken Beaudreau, who was a tremendous help during her last months. Rochelle's home was a haven for friends and family alike. She loved to entertain, and her door was always open to those seeking comfort, laughter, or simply a listening ear. Her presence was a beacon of warmth and hospitality, traits that endeared her to all who knew her.
A service to honor Rochelle's life will be held on June 23, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Summers Funeral Home, 3629 E Ustick Road, Meridian, ID 83646. The family kindly requests that donations be made to Eastern Star, Old West Order #642, Newhall Masonic Center, 19310 Avenue of the Oaks, Newhall, CA 91321. Dana lovingly tended to her mother with great care and devotion at the end of Rochelle's life. In addition, the family wishes to express their gratitude to Rochelle's life-long friends, Donna & Dotty and to the staff at First Choice Hospice for their compassionate care and support during Rochelle's final days. Rochelle faced her illness with grace and strength, surrounded by the love and care of those who meant the most to her.
