Irene Marie Gleason

Irene Gleason, 90, of Tucson, AZ, passed away at home on October 26, 2025.  Irene was born on October 9,1935 to Fred and Anna Neigum of Napoleon, ND.  She is survived by her children, Quinton (Cathie) of Oro Valley, AZ, and Quinell (Vince) of Las Vegas, NV, a grandson, Brandon, a granddaughter, Ashley (Ron) and two great grandsons, Lennox and Keaton.   She is also survived by two brothers, Elmer of Napoleon, ND, and Ben of Bismarck, ND, and several nieces and nephews.    She was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Clinton, and a brother, George. The family will have a small family gathering at a later date.  While living in Gillette, WY, Irene was a school crossing guard for 21 years.   In retirement, Irene enjoyed walking and watching any kind of basketball, especially the U of A Wildcats.   She did experience their PAC 12 wins in Las Vegas twice.  She enjoyed spending time with her great grandsons in person and Facetimed with them weekly.  She had a great day celebrating her 90th birthday with family.  She said that the key to her longevity was daily walking.  So in memory of Irene, we invite you to walk daily.
