Irmtraud Pawlak

Irmtraud Pawlak(Trudy) was born in Linz, Austria on October 11, 1927 and died on September 22, 2026 in Tucson, Arizona.

Trudy was a WW2 bride who came to America from Austria to build a life rooted in family, love and devotion.

She had one daughter, Sonia, who also lives in Tucson. Sonia and her husband, Don, now deceased had two children, Christopher who lives now in Sammamish ,Wa with his wife Sara and Amy who lives in Ramsey, N J with her husband Tim.

Amy and Tim have three children Connor, Caeli and Keira. Trudy absolutely adored them. Christopher and Sara loved visiting with Trudy also for stories of her upbringing and the Austrian culture.

Trudy led a simple life. She was the kind of mom, grandma and greatgrandma and friend that everyone loved.

Gigi, as her great- grandkids called her will be remembered for her kindness and love for family and friends. Her laughter and wisdom were gifts to everyone who knew her.

Rest in peace Mom, Gram and Gigi.
