Jeanette Criger Done
Apr 7, 1936 — Aug 4, 2026
With heavy but grateful hearts we announce that after 90 years of loving and serving everyone around her, our mother, Jeanette Criger Done passed away peacefully on the morning of August 4th. While her loss weighs heavily in our minds and hearts, we rejoice in knowing that she has been reunited with her eternal companion Boyd and their daughter Missy.
As a lifelong dedicated member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Jeanette served faithfully as Young Women’s President for many years and blessed countless people in many other church callings as well. She deeply loved her service in the Church as well as those she served, however her greatest calling was diligently caring for her youngest daughter Missy. Jeanette spent endless hours of her life doing family history work, loved making jewelry, traveled all across the world, and loved to snow ski in Snowbird, UT with her large family. She was also an extremely talented poet, writing about the things she loved most - her family, her faith, and nature. She leaves behind 4 children, 25 grandchildren, 41 great-grandchildren and counting.
A viewing will be held on Friday, August 14th from 4:00 to 5:00pm, with funeral services to follow, at Adair Funeral Home, 8090 N Northern Ave, Oro Valley AZ. Graveside services will be held at Binghamton Cemetery, 4001 N. Alvernon Way, Tucson, AZ on Saturday, August 15th at 8:30am.
