Nathan Eric Muhs

Nathan Eric Muhs, Age 45, of Tucson, AZ passed away unexpectedly on August 18, 2026. He was the son of Alan Muhs (Ana) and Peggy Muhs (Victor), and the brother of Sara Tunison (Michael). He is also survived by his beloved, Amy Greer, and many friends, family members, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and a nephew.

Nathan was born on June 25, 1981 in Glendale, Arizona. His childhood was spent in Tucson, Arizona building forts in the wash, shooting off model rockets, playing baseball, going on Boy Scout adventures, playing soccer, snowboarding, building things, and taking things apart. He lived in Denver, Colorado during high school and went on to earn his Aircraft Airframe and Powerplant Mechanic certification which led to job opportunities in Oklahoma City, OK and the island of St. Croix, VI. Once back in Tucson, Nathan worked at Tucson International Airport and as an apartment handyman.

He was loving, loyal, smart, and creative; he was fun, silly, and always up for a debate. He loved his dogs, putting on brand new socks, and getting Junior Mints at the movies. His 6' 5" stature (which would have been taller were it not for scoliosis) lent itself to giving really great hugs which will be missed by everyone lucky enough to have been regularly offered one.

A visitation is planned for Wednesday, August 26 from 5-7pm at Adair Funeral Home, 8090 N. Northern Ave, Oro Valley, AZ 85704. In leiu of flowers, donations may be made in Nathan's name to COPE Community Services.
