Pamela Jean Triggs
Feb 22, 1944 — May 26, 2026
Pamela Jean Triggs, 82, passed away peacefully on May 26, 2026, in Tucson, Arizona, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Born on February 22, 1944, in Marshfield, Wisconsin, Pamela was the eldest and beloved daughter of Dr. Perry O Triggs and Sybil M Triggs. She was a devoted sister, loyal friend, and lifelong learner whose intellectual curiosity, humor, creativity, and love of theater enriched the lives of those around her.
Pamela graduated from Fargo Central High School and earned a BA degree in Speech from Moorhead State University. She continued her education, receiving a master’s degree in Technical Theater from Indiana University. She taught technical theater at the University of Northern Iowa for several years and then enjoyed a long and successful career with Northwestern Bell, beginning as a lineman and advancing to the position of Planning Engineer before her retirement.
Throughout her life, Pamela was an avid reader, often enjoying two or three books at the same time. She was also a passionate sports fan who frequently watched ESPN and cheered for the North Dakota State Bison and the University of Arizona Wildcats. She was an enthusiastic collector and took great joy in pursuing her many interests.
Pamela is survived by her brother, Michael Triggs of West Des Moines, Iowa, and her sister, Michelle Madsen of Tucson, Arizona. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Patrick Triggs.
An intimate celebration of Pamela’s life will be held with immediate family at a later date.
In keeping with Pamela’s wishes, friends and family are invited to honor her memory by making a donation to a charity of their choice.
