Sue Ann Moser

Sue Ann Moser (Wentzel), age 79, passed away peacefully on May 19, 2026. She was born on

October 6, 1946, to Walter and Ruth Wentzel in Chicago, Illinois.

Sue dedicated her life to caring for others as a loving mother, sister, daughter, friend, animal

advocate, and compassionate caregiver. Her career as a Registered Nurse spanned over 40

years, beginning in Illinois and concluding at Tucson Medical Center (TMC). She was deeply

committed to helping others and was known for her kindness, dedication, and supportive spirit.

Outside of nursing, Sue was a passionate advocate for Arizona wildlife rehabilitation and

devoted countless volunteer hours to Wildlife Rehabilitation in Northwest Tucson.

Sue found joy in the simple things that reflected her serving personality: all things purple, teddy

bears, Ettore DeGrazia artwork, and her beloved dogs. She will be remembered for her warm

heart, caring nature, and unwavering love for her family and friends.

Sue is survived by her son, Michael, and daughter-in-law, Kim; her daughter, Beth; and her

sisters, Janice (Ron), Gail, Karen (Gilbert), and Amanda (Ed). She was preceded in death by her

parents, Walter and Ruth Wentzel, and her brother, William Wentzel.

Sue will be laid to rest at Holy Hope Cemetery on June 5, 2026.

In lieu of flowers, Sue requested that donations be made to Tucson Wildlife Center or ArizonaSonora Desert Museum
