Bruce Edward Bieszki

Bruce Edward Bieszki was born September 5th, 1953 to Sylvester and Nancy Biezski in Chicago. He grew up with his younger sister Susan in Chicago near Pulaski Rd. and Fullerton Ave. He is survived by his wife of 8 years, Karen Douglas, whom he loved very much. He graduated St. Patrick’s High School . He then went to The University of Illinois at Chicago Circle where he earned his accounting degree. Bruce went on to become a Certified Public Accountant. He spent several years as an Internal Auditor at Motorola. He read scripture at his Catholic Church on Saturday evenings and was a very active member in The Knights of Columbus. He enjoyed competing, was an excellent bowler and enjoyed card and board games. After he left Motorola in the mid-1980s, he resettled in Tucson. He became comptroller for Marie Products / Maze Moulding and eventually bought into a used car business with Ken Shaw. He discovered his love of acting, eventually operating his own theater, THE COMEDY PLAY HOUSE AND SCHOOL, where he met Karen Douglas, one of the best things that ever happened in his life. He loved old films. Especially those from the 1930s to 80s. He became a most excellent chef. As he approached retirement, he wanted to remain more social so, he re-discovered bridge and joined the Adobe Bridge Center, even though the game had changed over the years and was again a novice. There, he met new and interesting people. Bruce was a good, good son and husband, an honest, generous man and he was the best kind of friend one could hope to have.
