Gary Gene Lee, 88, passed away peacefully on July 17, 2026, at Casa de la Luz Hospice Facility in Tucson, Arizona.
Born in Twin Falls, Idaho, Gary was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He was known as one of the friendliest men you could ever meet, and his warmth, generosity, and genuine spirit touched the lives of everyone around him. Gary loved adventure and embraced life to the fullest. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, flying, skiing, golfing, and traveling in his
motor home. He especially cherished spending time in the mountains among the pine trees. Gary spent more than 30 years in the grocery industry, serving as a Store Director for Albertsons, where he built lasting friendships and earned the respect of those who worked alongside him.
In accordance with his wishes, his ashes will be scattered, alongside those of his beloved wife, on his favorite mountain.
Gary is survived by his wife, Vickie; his children Heidi and her spouse, Michael; Elizabeth and her spouse, Bruce; Tim; and Scott; his grandchildren
Shanay, Haleigh, Haydn, Scott, Heather and Ashley; and his sister, Linda and her spouse, Gary.
Gary's kindness, generosity, and loving spirit will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.
A celebration of Gary's life will be held in Tucson, Arizona, at a later date.
