Arlin Disselkoen

S. Arlin Disselkoen passed away on July 21, 2026 at Grace Pointe Senior Care Community, with his wife Emma at his side.

Arlin was the youngest of the five children of Arie and Della (Den Besten) Disselkoen. He was born August 18, 1933. He lived in Chandler, MN and Winnipeg, Manitoba Canada. He graduated from Calvin College (now University), Grand Rapids, MI in 1954. He was in the US Army from 1954 till discharge in 1956. He moved to Denver, CO and worked in several banks in Colorado from 1956 – 1990.

On December 29, 1962, he married Emma Post in Prinsburg, MN. Arlin and Emma were blessed with 4 children, 9 grandchildren, and 6 great grandsons. Their children are Brenda and Brent (twins), Beth, and Bruce. Brenda (Mark, dec’d 2016) Kastner in Greeley, CO and their 2 sons, Benjamin and Nathanael. Brent (Beth) in Alexandria, VA and their 2 sons, Craig (Monica) and Kyle. Craig (Monica) have 2 sons, Reid and Ezekiel. Beth (Loran) Krysl in Cheyenne, WY and their 3 children Alex (Allison), Joel, and Sarah (Kenton) Cleveringa. Alex (Allison) have 2 sons, Celyan and Elias. Bruce (Megan) in Greeley, CO and their 2 children Ellie (Jonathan) Chinchilla and Grant (Tiffani). Ellie (Jonathan) have 2 sons, James and Eli.

In 1969, the family moved to Greeley, CO. Arlin retired from the Greeley National Bank (now Chase Bank) in 1990. In the following years, he and Emma were able to do volunteer work in various places in the US and travel throughout the USA and foreign countries.

The memorial service will be held at 10:30am on Saturday, August 1, 2026 at Salt Church (formerly Fellowship CRC) at 2376 47th Avenue, Greeley, CO. Luncheon to follow.
