Harley Jesse Houghton

Harley Houghton, 27, of Pierce, CO, tragically lost his life after being involved in a motor vehicle accident on Monday, March 25, 2019 in Unincorporated Weld County. He was born to Steven Houghton and Deborah Boozer on June 29, 1991 in Oildale, California. He attended and graduated from Wasson High School and continued his education at Pikes Peak Community College where he learned to weld. Harley loved his work/hobby as a Diesel Mechanic. In his off hours he spent his time big game hunting, riding his Harley motorcycle and repairing and upgrading Diesel trucks with both friends and family. He also liked fishing, drag racing and the Dallas Cowboys. Harley was often soft-spoken and quiet, he never demanded anything from anyone, he was a true friend and devoted brother. Those that knew Harley and took the time to engage him were always the better for it. He was also wonderful with children having two nieces and a nephew who loved him dearly. Harley is survived by his two siblings: Nicole Captain and Duke Houghton. Harley is preceded in death by his father, Steve. The loss of Harley is a tragedy too tough to bear, but we must bear it all the same. He will be missed by all that knew him and mourned by all that loved him.
