Jack David Dirksen

Jack David Dirksen, 19, passed away on July 25, 2026, in Eaton, Colorado.

Jack was born in Vail, Colorado, on October 18, 2006, to Dan and Andrea Dirksen. Shortly after his birth, the family moved to Eaton, Colorado. Jack attended Eaton schools from preschool through his graduation in 2025. He then continued his studies at Casper College in the aviation program, where he excelled. Jack earned his private pilot's license and instrument rating while making the President's Honor Roll during his first year at school.

Jack was a loyal spirit, a good friend, and truly his own person. Whether on the golf course, at the gun range, skiing at any Mountain or weightlifting, there was always an adventure to be had. He not only had dreams but had the commitment to pursue them. Jack was the friend who never said no. He lit up every room, with his own way of speaking and his own sounds, in a life that never seemed to stop.

He is survived by his parents, Dan and Andrea; his big “Little” brother, Ryan; and his sister, Addison; his grandparents, Jay and Barbara Dirksen, and uncle Jared; grandparents David and Jeri Breidenbach, uncle Don and Laura, uncle Luke and Kassie, and uncle Austin; his cousins Taylor, Emma, Brett, Alexis, Hayden, Gabe, Tommy, and Charley, and many more great-aunts, uncles, and cousins; his special grandparents, Judy Guthrie and Kathy Anderson; and his special brother, Jake Breidenbach.

He was preceded in death by many loved great-grandparents, uncles, and aunts.

Services will be August 5th @ 10:00 am at Eaton High School.

In lieu of flowers a memorial account will be set up with Bank of Colorado in Jack’s name.
