Obituary for Joan Marilyn Schlidt

August 16, 1952-April 7, 2026

Joan Schlidt  died at her home in Ft. Lupton, CO. on April 7, 2026.  Joan was born in Aurora, CO. on August 16, 1952, to her parents, Thomas “Bud” and Donna(Freeman) Page.  She grew up in Hudson, CO..  She graduated from Weld Central High School in Keenesburg, CO. Joan Page married David Schlidt on May 31, 1975, in Roggen, CO. She collected Elephants, Chickens/Roosters, and Snowmen. She loved watching and cheering loudly for the Denver Broncos football team, cooking for her family, and more than anything, spending time with her family.  She took care of her family with her loving heart her entire life.

Joan is survived by her daughters Tina M. Schlidt and Jodie L. Schlidt, her grandchildren, Paul and Marica(Elmore) Schlidt, Lexi(Satterfield) and Michael Westhoff, Cala Schlidt and Cole Lechman, Levi and Jedidiah Schlidt, her great grandchildren, Adaline, Nicklaus, Alys, Hayden, and Alaina Schlidt, bonus family members Mark Danforth, Miklo Jaramillo, Laci Jaramillo, and Avery Bishop and her sisters, Diane Kremer, Jeri Page and many nephews and nieces, and her dog, Ollie.

Joan was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas “Bud” and Donna Page, her husband, David Schlidt, her son, Ken Schlidt, her brothers Tom and Tim Page, and her sister, Jackie Kremer, and her dog, Jasper.

Visitation/Viewing will be 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 21, 2026, Adamson Life Celebration Home, 2000 47th Avenue, Greeley, Co. 80634 .

Funeral Services will be at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 22, 2026 at Adamson Life Celebration Home, followed by graveside services at Linn Grove Cemetery, 1700 Cedar Avenue, Greeley, Co. 80631 .  There will be a small reception afterwards at Adamson Life Celebration Home.

Memorial contributions may be made to Adamson Life Celebration Home, 2000 47th Avenue, Greeley, Co. 80634 .  Condolences may be sent to the family or www.adamsonchapels.com
