Julie Lyn Bowman
Apr 30, 1966 — Jan 31, 2026
Julie Lyn Bowman, 59, passed away on January 31st, 2026. She died after a long battle with Alzheimer’s disease.
Julie was born on April 30, 1966, in Greeley, Colorado, to Jim and Marlene Seery. She graduated from Eaton High School, attended the University of Colorado at Boulder, and completed her Accounting degree at the University of Northern Colorado. She went on to work as a bookkeeper bringing dedication, care, and quiet pride to her work. Julie concluded her career after many happy years working for Harper Livestock, a place and family she truly loved.
Julie married Dana Bowman on August 8, 1987, and spent their marriage building a life rooted in love, hard work, and shared purpose. She was a selfless wife and mother and a jovial friend who made people feel welcome and at ease. She loved animals, traveling to see friends and family, the outdoors, and listening to her favorite ’80s rock music—often turned up just a little louder than necessary.
She is survived by her husband Dana, her parents and two brothers Randy Seery (Tamara), Greg Seery (Betty). Also her son Bryce Bowman (Nicole) and her cherished granddaughter, Freya.; her daughter, Kara Bowman (Matt Wiebe). She was preceded in death by her sister Becky Fries.
Julie’s love endures—in shared memories, familiar songs, and the quiet ways she taught others how to care. A memorial service will be held later this spring. Details will be shared at RememberJulie.com.
