Kristen Elizabeth Lujan

Kristen Elizabeth Lujan, 25, of Greeley, CO passed away, Saturday, December 24, 2011 at North Colorado Medical Center in Greeley. She had two beautiful daughters, Katherine, three years old, and Xada, one year old. Kristen was born February 4, 1986 in Greeley to Christopher Lujan and Darlene Garcia and was surrounded by a family who loved her very much. She attended Greeley area schools and had many friends who will miss her dearly. Knowing Kristen was like a ray of sunshine! She was warm, caring and had a smile that could light up any room. She is survived by her husband, Matthew Gunsallus of Greeley; daughters, Katherine and Xada Gunsallus of Greeley; father, Christopher Lujan and wife Anna of Greeley; mother, Darlene Garcia of Greeley; sisters, Maria Lujan of Cheyenne, WY, Amber Lujan of Greeley, and Larissa Limmpo of Denver, CO; brothers, Christopher Lujan, Jr. of Ft. Collins, CO and Eric Martinez of Greeley; grandmother, Elizabeth Lujan of Greeley; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles. Kristen was preceded in death by her grandfathers, Kenneth Lujan and William Garcia; grandmother, Madeline Garcia; and aunts, Margaret Lujan, and Maria Lujan. Services will include: Visitation 5-7 p.m. Thursday, December 29, 2011 at Adamson Chapel with Recitation of the Rosary to follow at 7:00 p.m.; Funeral Service 10:00 a.m. Friday, at Unity In Christ Church, 719 21st Street in Greeley. Memorial contribution checks may be made out to the "Amber Lujan”, who will manage the funds on behalf of Kristen’s two daughters, in care of Adamson Funeral & Cremation Services, 2000 47th Avenue Greeley, CO.
