Patricia Jo Hammond

Patricia Jo (Basart) Hammond was born on December 7, 1955, in Hastings, NE to Walter and JoAnn Basart. She passed away at home on May 6, 2026, at the age of 70.

The oldest of five children, the family moved to Loveland, CO when she was seven. She was a graduate of Loveland High School in 1974. Patricia worked at several jobs over the years, mostly involving caring for others. She was a state certified nursing assistant and also obtained her cosmetology license. Most recently, she spent the last two decades as a certified host home provider, doing in-home caregiving at her home in Greeley.

Trish enjoyed her pets, the Broncos, time in the mountains, and visits to the Oregon Coast and Washington. She married Rick Hammond in 2005 and had several wonderful years with him until his passing in 2014. She is survived by her son, Joshua (Jill); granddaughters, Hayley, Miranda, Aubrey, and Klara of Washington state; siblings, Vicky (Larry) Leonard, Brenda Cherry, Mike (Nikki) Basart, Pam Basart and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and JoAnn

A memorial service will be held at Adamson Funeral home in Greeley on Friday, July 24, 2026 at 2 pm.
