Pauline Montalvo

Oct 13, 1951 — Apr 8, 2026

Pauline Montalvo, beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away peacefully on April 8, 2026, in Greeley, Colorado, at the age of 74. Born on October 13, 1951, in Morton, Texas, to Jose and Basilla (Castillo) Maldonado, she was a cherished figure known for her kindness, generosity, and unwavering commitment to her family.

Pauline's life was marked by her profound love and devotion to her husband, Jorge, and their son, David. She embodied the virtues of compassion and selflessness, often described as a woman who would give the shirt off her back to those in need. Her nurturing spirit was felt by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Throughout her career, Pauline dedicated herself to many years at Mountain Bell, where she built lasting friendships and made lasting contributions to her workplace. However, it was in her home that she truly shone. She had a passion for cooking, often preparing homemade tortillas and baked goods that brought joy to her family and friends. Her talents extended to embroidery and dancing to the rhythms of Tex Mex music, activities that sparked laughter and warmth in her household. She held a special fondness for her Nissan Datson, lovingly named Jennie, which remains a beloved memory for her loved ones.

Family was the cornerstone of Pauline's life. Her unwavering commitment to protecting and caring for those she loved will be deeply missed. As we remember her, we celebrate not only the loss of a nurturing matriarch but also the joyful moments she shared with us all.

Pauline is survived by her husband, Jorge; son, David; granddaughters, Kiana and Aaliyah; sisters, Tony Mendoza, Mary Chavez, Josephine Rascon; brothers, Leroy Maldonado, Jesse Maldonado; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was proceeded by her parents, Jose and Basilla Maldonaldo; sister, Margarita; brothers, Donald Maldonaldo, John Maldonaldo, Charles Maldonaldo, Samuel Maldonaldo.

A Rosary will be held in honor of Pauline on Thursday, April 23, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Adamson Life Celebration. A Mass will follow on Friday, April 24, 2026, at 12:00 p.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church. She will be laid to rest at Linn Grove Cemetery, with a reception taking place afterward at Adamson Life Celebration.

Pauline Montalvo leaves behind a legacy of love that will forever resonate in the hearts of her family and friends. May her kind spirit and generous heart continue to inspire us all.
