William David Naibauer

William David Naibauer, December 25, 1948 – March 29, 2026

William “Bill” D. Naibauer, 77, of Greeley, Colorado, passed away on March 29, 2026, surrounded by his loving family.

He was born on Christmas Day, December 25, 1948, in Torrance, California to Fred and Bertha Naibauer.  Bill and the family spent less than a year in California before the family moved back to Greeley where he spent his entire life.  Bill graduated from Greeley Central High School in 1967 (as a 3-sport athlete), and from the University of Northern Colorado in 1971 with a BS in Accounting.

He spent nearly 50 years as a real estate agent/broker in Greeley, owning and operating Weber Realty since 1979, only recently retiring this past December.  Bill held many prominent positions during his tenure including President of the Weld County Builders Association in 1986 and President of the Greeley Board of Realtors in 1989.  He was named Realtor of the Year in 1993.

Despite Bill’s accolades as a realtor, his passion was spending time with his friends and family.  He enjoyed solving the world’s problems while hanging out with his friends at multiple coffee shops.  He cherished his daily conversations with Katie, always the ever-present father and listening ear.  Bill dedicated years of his life to coaching and watching David in baseball, rarely ever missing a game.  More than anything he loved spending each day with the love of his life Debbie, including their annual trip to Vegas.

In addition to his parents Fred and Bertha Naibauer, Bill is preceded in death by his sister Connie Schneider and her husband Don, along with brother-in-law Joe Peterson.

Bill is survived and dearly missed by his best friend and loving wife Debbie Naibauer; his brother Jerry Naibauer and his wife Nancy; two sisters, Janice  Wise and her husband Tom, and Betty  Peterson; one son David (Bree) Naibauer, one daughter Katie (Dave) Fortna, and two stepdaughters Nicki (Pat) Condreay Richter and Cassie Condreay; and eleven grandchildren, Sydney, Jacob, Collin, Kiley, Will, Juliana, Jackson, Peyton, Lexi, Addie, and Kelsi.

A celebration of Bill’s life will be held at the Boomerang Golf Course clubhouse in Greeley, Colorado on Sunday, June 14th at 1:00 PM.  We invite all who knew and loved Bill to join us in honoring his memory.  Nothing fancy, casual attire.  In lieu of flowers, we encourage you to honor Bill’s legacy by being prepared to share your favorite story about Bill!
