Daniel Diethorn
Jul 13, 1989 — Oct 29, 2026
Daniel “DJ” Diethorn July 13, 1989 – October 29, 2026
Daniel “DJ” Diethorn, 37, was a beloved son, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin, and friend whose larger-than-life personality, sarcastic sense of humor, and unwavering devotion to his family made him truly unforgettable. Charismatic, fiercely loyal, and always quick with a joke, DJ had a way of making people laugh, usually while giving them a hard time along the way. His presence could light up a room, and his sense of humor left an impression on everyone he met. DJ dedicated 19 years of his life to Triple State Plumbing, where he was a valued and devoted employee. Outside of work, he proudly cheered on his favorite teams, the Dallas Cowboys and New York Yankees. He also treasured the time spent with his friends at Cowboy Cafe, many of whom he considered family. Some of DJ’s happiest moments came from being an uncle. He took great joy in spoiling his nephews, Riley, Carter, and Emerson, and his niece, Paityn, especially with unforgettable Christmas gifts and the memories that came with them. He shared a special connection with his many cousins, who were not only relatives but lifelong friends with whom he shared countless laughs and unforgettable moments. His godparents, Maureen Tickle and Duck Donnelly, also held a special place in his heart. Above all, family was at the center of DJ’s life. One of the most meaningful relationships in DJ’s life was the unbreakable bond he shared with his best friend, Sean Donnelly, who was more like a fourth brother than a friend. Their years together were filled with laughter, loyalty, and a friendship that went far beyond words. The memories they made together will be cherished for a lifetime. DJ was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Christine Hines, who was his biggest fan and loved him unconditionally; his maternal grandparents, Alice and Leon Hines; and his paternal grandparents, Regis Diethorn and Janice Patterson. He leaves behind his father, Regis Diethorn; his brothers, Regis “Lil Rege” Diethorn Jr. (Carrie), Christopher “Cat” Diethorn, and Jonathan “J” Diethorn; his cherished nephews and niece; along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members, and dear friends. DJ was loved more than words could ever express. His loyalty, strength, unmistakable sense of humor, and the deep love he had for those closest to him will never be forgotten. Although his time here was far too short, the laughter he shared, the memories he created, and the lives he touched will remain in the hearts of those who loved him. His absence will be deeply felt, but his memory will live on forever.
