Dolores Seguine

Dolores Seguine, lovingly known as D, passed away peacefully on August 28, 2026, at Virginia Hospital Center after a brief illness. She was 94. In her final hours, she was surrounded by a caring staff of loving nurses and her doctor, whose presence brought comfort and gentleness at the close of a long life.

Born on October 22, 1931, Dolores lived through nearly a century of change, carrying with her the quiet strength and enduring spirit that left a lasting impression on those who knew and loved her. She will be remembered with affection, and her passing leaves a deep absence in the hearts of her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Roi F. Seguine, and by her son, Roy M. Seguine.

Dolores is survived by her daughter, Paula Young. She also leaves behind her grandchildren, Fransis Young, Jessica Young, and Anna Seguine and their family circles, including great-grandchildren Keima Baptiste, Isaac Baptiste, and Jace Spight.
