Edward Allen Harrison
May 22, 1954 — Oct 29, 2026
Edward Allen Harrison, 72, passed away peacefully on October 29, 2026. He was born on May 22, 1954, to Barbara and Leslie Harrison of Springfield, Virginia.
Edward was a loving father, a devoted family member, and a wonderful friend to those who knew him. He will be remembered for his kind heart, giving spirit, and willingness to help others. If Edward was able to lend a helping hand, he did so without hesitation or expectation of anything in return.
A naturally gifted, self-taught musician, Edward discovered his love for playing the guitar in his teenage years, around the age of seventeen. Music remained an important part of his life, and he possessed a remarkable ability to pick up just about any guitar and play. His musical talent was one of the many special gifts that made him who he was.
Edward also had a deep and abiding love for Jesus Christ. His Christian faith was an important part of his life, and he never hesitated to share the love of Jesus with others. Whether during a simple trip to the grocery store or through everyday conversations and encounters, Edward welcomed opportunities to share his faith and spread God's word. His love for the Lord, along with his generous heart, reflected the compassion and kindness he extended to those around him.
Above all, Edward will be remembered for his faith, his compassion, his love of music, and his willingness to help others. He was someone people could count on, and his presence left a lasting impression on the lives he touched.
Edward is survived by his four children, Carie, Allen, Carla, and Tyler; his brother, Larry (Georgia); and his sister, Linda (Jan); and all other nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He will be deeply missed, forever loved, and lovingly remembered by his family, friends, and all whose lives he touched.
Though his earthly journey has come to an end, the love he shared, the music he played, and the faith he carried will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
