Marjorie Jackson Jones

Marjorie J. Jones, of Annandale, Virginia, passed away on December 5, 2025.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Eleanor Jackson Gibson and George Kenneth Jackson.
Born and raised in Columbus, Ohio, Marjorie graduated from West High School in 1947 and attended Franklin College. In 1952, she married Richard Jones, and she traveled to many places, including Japan,Hawaii, Germany, Paris, and South America.
In her professional life as a legal secretary, Marjorie was office manager of the International Union of Police during the time that President Clinton was in office. Her career brought many memorable experiences,including attending White House events, among them an inaugural ball, which she cherished.
Marjorie is survived by her loving companion of 40 years, Arlen Lineberry; her sister, Marilyn Andrews; her daughter, Valerie Jones Housden; and her son, Steven Jones (Genet). She also leaves behind her grandchildren: Shannon Mashaal (Karam), Katherine Paluh (Chase), Anthony Jones, and Sabrina Jones; many nieces and nephews; and six great-grandchildren, Jenah, Nouh, Noor, Farah, Ethan, and Skylar, whom she loved dearly.
She will be remembered for her strength, warmth, adventurous spirit, and deep devotion to her family.
