Rosemary Camille Guida

Jul 27, 1952 — Feb 12, 2026

Rosemary (Rosie) Camille Guida

Born July 27, 1952, Died February 12, 2026. Rosie was born and spent her entire life in Northern Virginia. Shortly after high school she went to work for the Arlington County Police Department and retired from there in 2003.

Rosie was a collector. To the casual observer there was no theme to what she collected. Those who knew her understood that the “things” she collected reminded her of the memories of times spent with friends. Rosie’s most important collection was the friends she made along the way. These were not the kinds of friends who received Christmas cards once a year, but rather people who she interacted with on a regular basis. She began this collection in grammar school and added to it until her final days. She was kind and generous to them and they returned that kindness and generosity. Rosemary loved people and had compassion, love, kindness and respect for everyone. She always had time to share encouragement during tough times.

Rosemary enjoyed cruises and spending time in Ocean City, MD.

Rosie was proceeded in death by her parents, Antonio F. Guida and Anna L. Guida, her brothers Anthony F. Guida (Alice) and Charles M. Guida (Doris). She is survived by her brother Salvatore (Sal) Guida (Patricia), and Alice and Doris. Although they were technically sisters-in law they were more like true sisters and should be remembered as such. Nephews and great nieces and nephews Tony (Julie) Harper, Ken (Claire) Josh and David and niece Michelle Yates (Geoff) Amber, Andrew and Sara.
