Jerome Hubert Bergmann

Jerome "Jerry" Bergmann passed away peacefully in his sleep on August 4, 2026, in Carmichael, California, at the age of 96.

Born in Minneapolis, Minnesota, Jerry graduated from Central High School in 1946 and proudly served in the U.S. Army during the Korean conflict, entertaining troops through his music. He retired from Minnegasco in 1980 and later worked for Jackson County in Oregon and Shasta County in California.

Jerry shared 76 wonderful years of marriage with his beloved wife, Mary. He is survived by Mary; his children, Daryl, Mary, and Julie; eight grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son, David.

Known for his kindness, patience, and strong work ethic, Jerry was a gifted vocalist and musician who brought joy to many through church choir performances and appearances with the Stoop Chamberlain Band.

He will be deeply missed by family and friends. A private ceremony will be held in Carmichael, CA., on September 12, 2026.
