MaryAnn Daniels Felix
Feb 12, 1963 — Sep 12, 2026
- MaryAnn D. Felix
- February 12, 1963 – September 12, 2026
If you knew MaryAnn, chances are you can hear her laugh right now.
It was loud. It was distinct. It was infectious. And, thankfully, it was often.
MaryAnn was full of life in every sense of the word. She loved hard, laughed harder, danced whenever the music called for it, and had a way of making people feel at home the moment they walked through her door. Her home was the gathering place—full of music, conversation, incredible food, warm hugs and, almost certainly, that unmistakable laugh coming from somewhere nearby.
Born and raised in Arizona on February 12, 1963, to her parents, Juanita B. Daniels and Louis Y. Daniels, MaryAnn was an Arizona girl at heart. Colorado eventually became another place she loved and called home, and in the later years of her life she enjoyed moving between the two.
MaryAnn’s family became the center of her world. And with MaryAnn, “her children” never meant only the ones she gave birth to. Her door—and more importantly, her heart—was always open.
Friends of her children became family. Kids who needed somewhere to go had somewhere to go. Kids who needed love received it, usually along with one of MaryAnn’s famous hugs.
Above everything else, though, MaryAnn loved her family.
She is now dancing with her oldest sister Vivian E. Perez.
- Survived by
Her siblings Raymond Perez, Joann Ramirez, and Danny Daniels
Her children are Santiago “Jay” Gonzales Jr. and his wife, Sonya; Gabriel Gonzales and his wife, April; Leticia Gonzales; Mariann Felix; Robert Davis and his wife, Stacy.
And then there were the people lucky enough to know her as Nana.
Her grandchildren—Damian, Dante, Dasio, Destinee, Michael II, Mariano, Justice, Ana, Xavier.
MaryAnn’s smile and laugh will deeply be missed. But will never be forgotten. Thankful and forever blessed to have known her. ❤️
