Carol S. Wright

Carol S. Wright, 79, of Denver, Colorado passed away on Friday, September 4, 2026, at the Life Care Center of Aurora. She passed peacefully in her sleep with her eldest daughters by her side.

Carol was born June 30, 1947, in Bryan, Ohio, to the late Leo and Ruby (Neifer) Sutton.

She will be remembered for her warmth, strength, sense of humor, and dedication to her family and friends. She leaves behind her daughters Sherri Higgins, Sheila Ruder (Mike Wheeler) and Jennifer (Steve) Nix, her grandchildren Brittany Ruder, Amanda Higgins, Gabrielle (Chris) Smith, Evan Costello, and Alyssa Nix, and her brother John Sutton. She was preceded in death by her parents and by her brother Dan Sutton of Bridgman, MI.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 4 to 7 pm on Saturday, September 26, 2026, at Windsor Gardens Community Center (595 S Clinton St. Denver CO 80247) to remember her and share the immense joy that she brought to us all.
