Kenneth Lee Mathis

Kenneth Lee Mathis, 56, of Parker, Colorado, passed away Friday, May 22, 2026, at his home.

He was born August 3, 1969, in Denver, Colorado, the son of John A. and Mariyln J. (Tyler) Mathis, II. After graduating from Ponderosa High School in 1987, Ken received his bachelor's degree in computer science from Colorado State University. Throughout most of his professional career, he assisted in building and testing computer software while working at AutoCAD for many years. Ken also worked as a shopper for Sam’s Club for a short time.

Left to cherish his memory is one sister, Illana Michelle Carnival; and two nieces, Katheryn and Jacquelyn Carnival. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Ken was gifted at playing video games of all kinds and was even in the process of creating his own video games and accompanying book series. He enjoyed collecting video game paraphernalia and had a love for animals, especially dogs.
