Miker D. Dunbar

Mar 17, 1963 — Feb 7, 2026

Miker Daryl Dunbar was born in Wuerzburg, Germany on 17 March 1963 to the late Oscar Darnell Dunbar and Clara Smith Dunbar. Miker was the youngest of his siblings, late Zachary, Rosalyn, and Preshelle, survived by Lasonya and Billy, 4 nephews and 4 nieces and 10 great nephews and nieces. Miker was a graduate of Jefferson City High School in Jefferson City, MO. Then attended Lincoln University, graduating with a Bachelor's Degree in Sociology 1986. Miker worked various jobs and lived in multiple cities like Kansas City, Atlanta, Colorado Springs and Aurora. To name a few. Miker had a free and kind spirit.

We, the family of Miker Dunbar, would like to express our deepest and most heartfelt appreciation to everyone who has supported us during this incredibly difficult time. Losing Miker is not easy, but your prayers, kind words, visits, calls, messages, flowers, cards, and acts of service have brought comfort to our hearts when we needed it most. Your presence—whether near or far—has reminded us that we are not alone in our grief. To those who prepared meals, traveled long distances, offered encouraging words, or simply sat with us in silence—thank you. Every gesture, no matter how big or small, has meant more than we can fully express. We are especially grateful to those who helped in organizing and participating in the service. Your compassion and generosity will never be forgotten. Though our hearts are heavy, we are strengthened by the love and support of family, friends, and community. May God bless each of you for the kindness you have shown.

With sincere gratitude, The Family
