Patricia Ann Roach

Patricia Ann Roach, 80, of Parker, Colorado, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 14, 2026, at AdventHealth Parker.

Patricia was born June 25, 1946, in Seattle, Washington, the beloved daughter of John Edward and Dorothy Ann (Raabe) Precup. Throughout her life, she pursued education with determination and a love of learning. She earned an Associate of Science degree from the University of Hawaii in 1975, a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Colorado in 1987, and an Associate of Arts degree from Arapahoe Community College in 2002.

Her professional career reflected her versatility and dedication. Patricia worked as an Executive Assistant and Insurance Claims Adjuster before expanding her interests as a published writer. She also devoted her time to volunteering in support of individuals with vision impairment and found fulfillment in tutoring others.

Patricia was the Vice President and proud member of the Phi Theta Kappa International Honor Society, recognizing her commitment to academic excellence and lifelong learning.

Beyond her accomplishments, Patricia will be remembered for her adventurous spirit and artistic soul. She loved to travel, was passionate about the arts, and was an avid painter who viewed the world through her own unique lens. She embraced each new experience with enthusiasm and believed life itself was an adventure to be explored.

She is lovingly survived by her daughter, Shannon Dielle Norton (Mike Hansen); her son, James Tyler (Amy Lynn) Roach. She was a proud grandmother to Kalen, Jessica, Haileigh, and Alexis, whose lives brought her immense joy. Patricia is also survived by her brother, James Precup; and her stepsisters, Penny Boyd and Bobbie Barker. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, John Precup, Jr.

Patricia will be remembered for her intelligence, generosity, creativity, adventurous heart, and unwavering appreciation for the beauty in the world around her. Her love, wisdom, and independent spirit will remain with all who knew and loved her.

According to her wishes, Patricia was cremated, and no local services are planned. The family extends heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Julianne Garrison for her many years of compassionate care, support, and kindness. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial donations be made to diabetes research, a cause that was meaningful to Patricia.
