Ray Gale Gauvin

Ray Gale Gauvin, 77, of Franktown, Colorado, passed away on April 8, 2026, in Parker, Colorado.
Born on May 13, 1948, in Greenland, New Hampshire, Ray was the son of Roderick Joseph and Mary Rose (Ploude) Gauvin, and stepson of Augusta Gauvin. He proudly served his country in the United States Army from 1968 to 1974 and during that time he was stationed in Vietnam.
Ray built a career in auto parts and tractor parts sales, where he was known for his knowledge, reliability, and easygoing nature. Outside of work, he enjoyed spending time with friends at coffee club gatherings.
He had a deep appreciation for classic cars, antiques, and toy collections—especially pedal cars—which reflected his love for craftsmanship and nostalgia.
Left to cherish his memory is his beloved wife of 52 years, Sabina “Sis” Gauvin; four children- Renie (Rich) Bush, Debbie (Quinton) Graham, Carol Otto, and Ken (Donna) Rastberger; six grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; and one great-great grandson. Ray was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Amanda Otto. Ray is also survived by two brothers, Nelson Gauvin and Rod (Mary) Gauvin; and three sisters: Carmen Bundschuh, Rejeanne (David) Bernier, and Millie (Anthony) Brackett. Along with his parents and stepmother, he was also preceded in death by one brother, Guy Gauvin.
Cremation will be accorded. A committal service with military honors will be held on Tuesday, May 12, 2026, at 1:30 p.m. at Fort Logan National Cemetery in Denver, CO. Please meet at Staging Area WHITE around 1:15 p.m. to follow in procession to the shelter site. A celebration of life will follow from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Anthology Clubhouse at 18012 Keyser Creek Ave. Parker, CO 80134.
Ray’s memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
