Kimberly Anne Lesky

Kim, surrounded by her family, passed away much too early.  Born in Denver, she graduated from Cherry Creek High School and Colorado State University.  Kim was great fun, eager to laugh, and, by her own admission, a “little quirky”.  Among her talents, she was a barrel racer, a chef (without using a recipe), a collector of odds and ends, a paraprofessional teacher working with disadvantaged children, a caterer, a lover of all things Halloween, a loving sister to Kelly and a loving daughter to her dad.  But most of all she was a wonderful loving mother to her three children Marissa, Jasmine, and Nick, with whom she loved to play board games and do many other things. Kim was preceded in death by her mother Dolores Koon and her dog Rocky, and survived by her father Richard Koon, her sister Kelly Shafer, her three children, her stepmother Paula Armstrong, her brother-in-law Jeff Shafer, her nieces Britta and Dani Shafer, and Paula’s family.
