Maureen Orbus

Maureen Orbus, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, lost her battle with cancer on February 9, 2026, at the age of 79.

Born on August 14, 1946, in Winnipeg, Manitoba, she spent her formative years in Southern California.

Living in numerous cities throughout the Western US during her life, she had a unique ability to forge lasting friendships wherever she went. She always left an indelible mark on the hearts of those lucky enough to have met her.

Family was the cornerstone of Maureen's life. She was a devoted mother to her children, and her grandchildren were the absolute light of her life.

Maureen's life was a beautiful tapestry of love, friendship and selflessness. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her, but her legacy will continue to inspire and uplift those she leaves behind.

As we say goodbye, we celebrate a life well-lived knowing that Maureen's spirit will remain with us, a guiding light in our memories and hearts.
