Raymond Augustus Sekera

Raymond Augustus Sekera, beloved musician of Denver, passed away on September 20, 2025, at 80 years old. Borm May 25, 1945, Ray left a lasting legacy playing across the area for over 60 years.

Ray also worked for Dairy Farmers of America driving a big rig hauling milk for 20 years.

He is survived by his wife Jo Ann Sekera, his children Debbie Sekera and Jeffrey Sekera, his stepchildren David Slatten, Jeffrey Cochran and Richard Cochran, his grandchildren Chantelle Jean Smith and Gabrielle Ann Sekera, Tristan Jeffrey Sekera and Autumn Patricia Sekera, great grandchildren Ty Jordan Smith, Rudy Gray Smith and Calvin Bradley Smith.

He was preceded in death by his father, Charles John Sekera and mother, Esther Mary Sekera, his son Bradley Allen Sekera, his brother Charles Raymond Sekera and sister Judith Marie Sekera.

A celebration of life will be held at the VFW at 10217 Quivas St in Thornton, Co 80260 on October 12, 2025 at 2 pm.
