Robert Eugene Croff, 79, passed away on August 27, 2026. Born in Denver, Colorado, on April 8, 1947. Robert lived a life defined by resourcefulness, intellect, and a loving devotion to his family.

A proud US Army Veteran, Robert served during the Vietnam war as a helicopter mechanic. His natural talent for mechanics and problem-solving transitioned seamlessly into a successful career as an electrical engineer. Robert was a true master craftsman who could fix or build anything he set his mind too. He channeled this extraordinary skill into creating a homestead where he lived for the last 45 years, leaving behind a lasting physical legacy of his hard work and vision.

Beyond his career Robert had bold and diverse passions. He was well known for his love of firearms, chemistry and crafting his own custom pyrotechnics. He enjoyed raising cattle for several years and his favorite tv show was Gunsmoke. He is survived by his wife Linda Croff of 52 years and his children, Troy, Amy and Kelly. His grandchildren, Heidi, Brayden Dalla, and Maximus and his only great grandchild Sophia.

Funeral services will be held at Fort Logan Cemetery located at 3698 S. Sheridan Blvd., Denver, CO 80236 on Friday, October 2 at 12:30 PM
