                                                                                             In Loving Memory

Catherine Marie Dacek “Cathe”, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and friend, passed away peacefully on August 21, 2026, at the age of 67. Born on May 21, 1959, Cathe was a beacon of warmth and kindness, known for her radiant smile and loving heart. She brought joy and comfort to all who knew her.

Cathe shared a beautiful life with her husband, Jerry, affectionately known as “Homer”. For 46 years, their marriage was a testament to love, commitment and partnership, serving as a cherished example to their family and friends.

Cathe was lovingly referred to as “Momma” and “Grams” by many, extending her nurturing spirit beyond her immediate family. She was the devoted mother of Josh (Cathy), Jake (Samantha) (Missy) and Crysta “Bug” (Jordan). Her children were the pride of her life, each one carrying forward her legacy of love, kindness and humor.

Her grandchildren, Aiden, Nevaeh “Landen”, Dylan, Jack and Jennica, were the light of her life. She cherished every moment spent with them, creating memories that will be treasured forever. Her warm presence and gentle guidance left an incredible mark on each of their lives. Let's not forget her furry grandkids, Grizzly, Miles and Boogie.

Cathe was predeceased by her parents, Jan “Mamae” and Ray “Papa” and her grandmother Freda “Nana”. She was also preceded in death by her father-in-law, Jerry Sr., her sister-in-law Lyda and many other family members and friends. Again, let's not forget all of her furry family that preceded her. All of their memories were always close to her heart.

She is survived by her loving mother-in-law Roberta “Bobbie”, her brothers-in-law Joe “Dale” (Lisa) and Johnny (Tracy), as well as her niece and nephews, Monie, Alex “Frost”, Drew, Joey, Matthew and Nathan. Her extended family enriched her life with love and laughter.

Her generous spirit and loving nature extended to countless friends who became family, a testament to her ability to create bonds that transcended bloodlines. Cathe's home was a haven of warmth, where everyone felt welcome and loved.

Cathe loved her music (except maybe Homer's guitar and amp collection)! The Beatles were her favorite. She loved horses, hummingbirds, hearts, rainbows and her favorite color was purple. She had a deep love and respect for nature and loved her plants/gardening. Her favorite adventure was 4-wheeling the mountains. Yes, she was a “Jeepster”! Cathe was also a pretty avid sports fan and had an intense love for the Denver Broncos (often quoting she “bleeds orange and blue!”) and the Colorado Avalanche! We also can't forget her love for a good cold beer or a Tito's and cranberry juice!!

Cathe/Momma/Grams will be dearly missed, but her spirit will continue to inspire and uplift all those who were fortunate enough to know her. Her life was a beautiful tapestry of love, woven with threads of kindness, generosity and unwavering devotion. May her memory be a blessing to all.
