Dominick Edward Breton

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Dominick (Dom) Edward Breton. Dominick was born on November 10, 1984 and passed away peacefully on June 18, 2026 at the age of 41. Born and raised in Wheat Ridge, Colorado, Dominick was the essence of community and gave his all to his town, friends, and family. He is survived by his parents, Paul and Nancy, and his sister, Janelle, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. Dominick became an Eagle Scout in 2003 and graduated from Wheat Ridge High School in 2004. He worked for Safeway for over 20 years where he began connecting deeply with his community and later became president of the Wheat Ridge Chamber of Commerce. He was heavily involved with Boy Scouts, Kiwanis, the Wheat Ridge Grange, the Jeffco school system, and a variety of local volunteer groups. While he dedicated his life to the betterment of the city of Wheat Ridge and beyond, there is no way he knew the true scope of his legacy.

To celebrate Dominick’s life, a service will be held at Fellowship Denver Church North Metro on Friday, July 10 at 10:00am and will be livestreamed. In addition, a memorial reception will be held at The Green on 38th, 7101 W 38th Ave, immediately following at 11:30am. In lieu of flowers, the family requests any memorial donations be made to Wheat Ridge Kiwanis, Jeffco Eats, or Boy Scout Troop 240.
