Evelyn Davis

A devoted mother and wife who loved dearly.

Evelyn Davis passed away on November 6, 2025, in Lakewood Colorado, at the age of 66. She leaves behind her husband Ric, daughter Lena, Son Justin, brothers Art and Donald, granddaughter Ninah, 2 great grandchildren Aailiyah and Malcolm, nieces and nephew, and many friends both new and old. 

Evelyn loved and enjoyed many things, including fishing with her husband, putting makeup on with her great granddaughter, betting on the Broncos with her brother, and watching basketball with her longtime friend Mae. She developed a new passion for playing bingo where she met many of her new friends that she cared about very dearly.

She spent several years as an audit manager for different hotels and restaurants. But the job she loved the most was driving across the United States in her semi-truck for Nestor Trucking.

She retired from trucking due to an injury and entered a new career as a secretary for a seafood company, where she met the love of her life. After meeting Ric, a loving and devoted husband, she spent the last 30 years of her life being loved and cared for unconditionally.

A Loving and caring mother, always willing to listen and be your best supporter. She made certain her children were taken care of, no matter what the situation. Whether it be giving advice, a loving hug, or a shoulder to cry on, you could always count on her to be there. And we can't forget her love of animals. From cats to dogs, she loved her furbabies as if there were her own children. 

As she walks with angels beginning her new journey, she will continue to hold a special place in the hearts of many.

A Celebration of life will be held in her memory on December 12, 2025, at the Lakewood Elks Lodge.
