Jennifer Larie Gamet

Jennifer Larie “Jen” Gamet, beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully at home in Castle Rock, Colorado, surrounded by her family, on August 17, 2026, at the age of 55.

Jen was born on November 25, 1970, in Highland Park, Illinois, to Elizabeth Veeder. She built a beautiful and fulfilling life centered around the people she loved most. In October 2000, she married her soulmate, Scott Spencer Gamet, in the Bahamas. Together, they shared a love and partnership that remained the foundation of their family and their lives.

Jen was a proud mom to Cole, Ross, Cash, and Jett, whom she adored more than anything in the world. Her family was her greatest joy, and she was the rock of the family—always there with love, encouragement, laughter, and a helping hand. She had an enormous heart and a gift for making the people around her feel cared for. Jen was also known for her wonderful sense of humor and her ability to break into a song no matter where she was. Her laughter and her music will be deeply missed.

Jen’s faith was unshakable. She prayed daily and found strength and comfort in her relationship with God. She held onto the hope that one day she would be reunited in Heaven with those she loved.

Professionally, Jen cared deeply about her work as an MRI technologist. She took great pride in helping patients through some of the most difficult and uncertain moments of their lives. The many heartfelt letters of thanks she received from patients were a testament to the compassion, kindness, and care she brought to her work. She made a difference in countless lives simply by being Jen.

Outside of work, Jen loved spending time with her family, soaking up the sun at the pool while getting her tan on, skiing, and enjoying the companionship of her beloved dogs, Axle and Daisy. Above all, she treasured the time spent surrounded by the people and animals she loved.

Jen lived by a simple but meaningful philosophy: “If you can’t be kind, be quiet.” Those words reflected the compassion and kindness she tried to bring into the world.

Jen is survived by her husband and soulmate, Scott Spencer Gamet; her children, Cole, Ross, Cash, and Jett; her mother, Elizabeth “Liz” Veeder; her sister and brother-in-law, Leah and Danny Baldon; her mother-in-law, Margo Gamet; and her sister- and brother-in-law, Stephanie and Dan Canfield. She was preceded in death by her brother, Mike George, in 2026, and her father-in-law, Richard Gamet, in 2015.

Jen will be remembered for her enormous heart, unwavering faith, infectious humor, beautiful singing, fierce love for her family, and the countless lives she touched through both her personal and professional kindness.

She was the rock of her family and will be missed more than words can express. Though her absence leaves an immeasurable emptiness, the love she gave so freely will remain with her family and friends forever, until they are reunited with her again in Heaven.

Jen will be laid to rest at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Castle Rock, Colorado.
